Our story
Founded in Annapolis, Maryland in 2019, South River Mortgage has grown into one of the largest reverse mortgage companies in the United States. We are a reverse-only lender, focused on doing one thing well.
We did not adopt the industry's tools. We built our own. Our proprietary ReversePilot loan origination system was designed specifically for the complexity and longer sales cycle of reverse, replacing the slow, costly platforms that held the industry back for a decade.
Now we are extending that platform to partners. Through wholesale and correspondent lending, mortgage banks, credit unions, servicers and originators offer reverse to their existing clients while South River Mortgage runs the technology and the back office.
